Every commission begins with a conversation about what matters to you — the people, animals, memories, symbols, colours or emotions you want the painting to hold.

From there, I translate those ideas through my surrealist visual language, combining tactile felt textures with fabric paint and mixed media to create a work that is unmistakably yours, while remaining unmistakably mine.

The goal is not to reproduce a photograph.

It is to create a painting with meaning, atmosphere and presence.

1. Tell Me Your Story

Begin by sharing what you have in mind.

You can tell me about the person, pet, relationship, memory, concept or feeling you want the artwork to capture.

If you already have a clear vision, wonderful.

If you only know that you want something meaningful and distinctive, I can help develop the direction with you.

2. Creative consultation

We’ll discuss your story, intended space, preferred dimensions, colours, references and overall atmosphere.

I’ll also advise on scale and composition so the finished work feels considered within its environment.

For Singapore collectors, an in-person consultation or studio visit may be possible. International consultations can take place virtually.

3. Proposal & Deposit

Once we have established the direction and scope of the work, I’ll provide your commission proposal and investment.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place in my studio schedule.

Your commission officially enters the production queue once the deposit has been received.

4. The Painting Comes to Life

This is where your story becomes art.

I work intuitively within the agreed creative direction, combining felt, fabric paint and mixed media to build the textures, symbolism and visual details of the piece.

Throughout the process, I’ll share selected progress updates so you can see your artwork developing in the studio.

5. Refinement & Completion

Once the painting reaches completion, I’ll share the final artwork with you.

Up to two rounds of colour-based refinements are included where appropriate.

Because each commission is an original artwork rather than a reproduction, the final composition remains guided by my artistic interpretation and visual language.

6. Your Artwork Becomes Yours

The remaining balance, together with any applicable framing and shipping costs, is settled before final delivery.

Your completed artwork is carefully prepared for collection or secure delivery.

Singapore collectors may arrange studio pickup or hand delivery where available. International artworks can be shipped using appropriate art-handling methods.

Your artwork is accompanied by its documentation as applicable.

INVESTMENT

Commissions begin from S$2,800.

Final pricing is determined by the dimensions, subject matter, complexity, materials and level of detail required.

For larger statement works, I will provide a personalised quotation after understanding your requirements.

TIMELINE

Most commissions require approximately 4–8 weeks from confirmation, depending on the size and complexity of the work.

Larger or particularly intricate pieces may require additional time.

Your estimated completion timeline will be confirmed before production begins.
